Boiling tops and hobs are effectively the same as the top of an oven range, just without the oven space underneath. These types of units are very popular for purposes where oven space is not required. With them being some and compact theses boiling tops and hobs can just sit on top of the work counter.  Also, for the small ones that are 3kW or under then they are portable units. Plugin device - easy to move around the kitchen and ideal for catering events.

When it comes to picking which boiling top/hob you want there’s lots of different options to pick from.

Whether you want it to be powered by Electric, Gas or Induction. Followed by brands. We offer lots of different brands; Blue Seal, Buffalo, Burco, Electrolux, Falcon, Lincat, Parry and Roller Grill.

One way to narrow down your options would be the number of hobs that you require. You have the choice of 1, 2, 4 or 6 in different shapes and models.

Lincat Silverlink 600 have a range HT3, HT6 and HT9. All three of these models are available as (electric) or a N or P. All of these models have got an Automatic power reduction if a pan boils dry or is removed. The HT3 has 2 separate hobs that can be controlled independently. The HT6 has 4 separate hobs that all can be controlled independently. The HT9 has 6hobs which are all controlled independently.

Induction Hobs:

Induction Hob is another type and these are very popular with our cutomers. One main reason behind this is because it delivers almost twice the cooking power of a similarly rated gas hob.  Also compared to an electric hob, the induction hob uses less power and less energy as it remains cold until you place a pan on it. The Induction hob works by creating a magnetic field between the induction element in the hob and the pan. This means that only the pan heats up, rather than the cooking surface.

Lincat have a range of induction hobs which have lots of good features which make them ideal for both commercial and domestic customers. These units have got rotary controls, power boost function and also in-built cooling fans for overheat protection.

Lincat Induction Hob IH3 has one hob on it and its power rating is 2.4kW which means that it is a portable/plugin device. The next model up is the Lincat Induction Hob IH21. This model has two different sized induction zones: front / rear layout. The rear hob is a bigger size that will fit all pans etc on it.  The biggest Lincat Induction Hob is the IH42. This unit has got 4 separately controlled zones, 2 at the front and 2 at the rear of the unit. The two hobs at the back of the unit are the bigger sized hobs and the 2 at the front are the smaller sized hobs.
