Which Type of Water Heater?

You may already have a good idea of which type you need to select, but here’s a quick recap..

Choose ‘Hot Water Cylinder’ if you are looking for a whole-house hot water solution (possibly including heating as well). These range from 70 litres to over 500 litres.

Choose ‘On-Wall’ for, a small flat, an office or one or more sinks.

Electric Boilers are usually for central heating, but if they are combi boilers, they can also produce hot water.

Instantaneous Water Heaters are point-of-use, single outlet heaters which need to be close to the outlet. If You are thinking of one of these for a bathroom, be aware that they will not cope with filling a bath.
