Ariston is one of Europe's best-known heating and hot water manufacturers, and its UK range spans electric and gas water heaters, unvented cylinders and combi boilers. Models like the Andris and Europrisma are a common sight in kitchens, utility rooms and light commercial settings. As with any hard-working appliance, it is the serviceable components that need replacing long before the unit itself.

Finding the right part
Start with the model name and serial number, usually on a rating label on the side or underside of the appliance, or behind the front cover on a boiler. Internal components such as elements and thermostats were updated across production runs without the outer model always changing, so matching on model name alone can return the wrong part. Where you can, cross-check the number stamped on the component you are replacing. Elements in particular vary by wattage and fitting, so the old part is the most reliable reference. Are these genuine Ariston parts? Yes, sourced through the manufacturer's supply chain rather than aftermarket copies, so they match the fit and performance of the original.
Does an Ariston water heater need its anode replaced? Most Ariston stored water heaters use a sacrificial anode to protect the tank from corrosion. It is a wear item, so inspect it periodically and replace it when depleted to extend the life of the cylinder.
