Genuine Ariston 919054-01 Magnesium Anode
Genuine Ariston 919054-01 magnesium anode for Classico, Comfort and Contract unvented cylinders. Fitted to an unvented cylinder, so G3 qualified installation required. Isolate the electrical supply before work.
What it does
The magnesium anode is a sacrificial rod that corrodes in place of the cylinder lining. It is checked at each annual service and replaced once it has worn down, as an exhausted anode leaves the cylinder unprotected.
