The current generation of Zip's kitchen and office taps, with improvements to efficiency, safety and flexibility. The G5 carries full parts and labour for 3 years on the tap and 5 years on the tank.
Zip taps deliver almost any combination of boiling, cold, chilled and sparkling filtered water, alongside normal hot and cold.
The Zip HydroTap G5 Under-sink Command Centre
Fewer units than the previous generation, and more capable. The improvements cover several areas:

An internal pressure limiting valve, internal leak detection and electrical overload protection, with continuous diagnostics keeping a history of every check result.
The cross-ventilated, air-cooled system dumps no water to waste.

Four energy-saving settings, so each unit can be set to suit its site, and the improved cross-ventilation removes the need for an external fan.
Monitored insulation cuts standby power consumption by 55% against previous models.
Power-Pulse holds water temperature to within 0.2°C, adjustable between 68°C and 100°C.

A PIN-protected touch screen on the front controls every setting, including energy, safety and temperature.
The Zip HydroTap G5 Taps

Boiling can be set to finger and thumb operation to stop accidental use, or isolated altogether.

A longer spout suits under-mount sinks. The levers work both ways: push down to fill a cup fast, pull up for hands-free pot filling. Indicator lights show when boiling and chilled are ready, and when the filter is due.

A hidden light sensor sleeps the unit when the room goes dark, and it sleeps after 2 hours unused, holding the water above 65°C. A 24/7 timer can power down at weekends and restart Monday morning.

The Zip 0.2 micron filter removes impurities down to 1/5000 of a millimetre, taking out chlorine taste and odour while retaining fluoride.
