The Cotherm TSR00014 TSR dual thermostat is designed for use with immersion heaters, providing accurate temperature control and integrated safety protection for hot water cylinders. Suitable for 11 inch immersion heaters, this thermostat regulates water temperature while incorporating a manual reset safety cut-out to prevent overheating.
Thermostats are essential components in electric water heating systems, ensuring water is heated to the correct temperature while protecting against excessive heat build-up. The dual thermostat design combines both control and safety functions in one unit, improving reliability and compliance with safety standards. Over time, thermostats can lose accuracy or fail due to electrical wear or prolonged use, leading to inconsistent temperatures or potential safety risks. Replacing a faulty thermostat restores precise temperature regulation, improves efficiency, and ensures safe system operation. Installation should always be carried out by a suitably qualified professional in accordance with electrical regulations.
