The Glow-Worm part 0020275016 is a reliable 3 bar pressure relief valve (PRV) designed specifically for Glow-Worm combi and system boilers. As a safety-critical component, its role is to protect the boiler and central heating circuit by releasing excess pressure before it can cause damage to the heat exchanger or associated pipework.
In practice, this valve demonstrates consistent opening at the correct set pressure, good build quality, and compatibility with the intended boiler range. Being a genuine Glow-Worm part, it ensures proper fit and performance compared to generic alternatives. However, because the PRV directly affects safety and system integrity, professional installation by a Gas Safe-registered engineer is essential. Overall, the 0020275016 is a sound, manufacturer-specified safety valve that contributes to dependable boiler operation when correctly selected and installed.
