The Glow-Worm Diverter Valve Motor 3Wv ELBI is a manufacturer-specified actuator motor that forms part of the diverter valve assembly within compatible Glow-Worm combi boilers such as Betacom, Easicom, and Ultimate series. In a combi boiler, the diverter valve is the mechanism that directs the boiler’s output—whether hot water should go to the radiators (central heating) or to domestic hot water taps without needing a separate cylinder or tank. The motor drives the diverter valve between its positions based on signals from the boiler’s control board. When this motor fails or becomes sluggish, the system can behave unpredictably, such as heating the radiators when hot water is required or vice versa, so using the correct OEM motor helps restore accurate and consistent operation.
