The Glow-Worm 20195521 Condensate Drain is a boiler part designed for use with a range of modern condensing combi and system boilers. In condensing boilers, combustion of gas produces water vapour that cools inside the heat exchanger and forms condensate — a slightly acidic liquid by-product of high-efficiency operation. This condensate must be safely removed from the boiler through a dedicated drain connection rather than left to accumulate internally, which could otherwise damage components or create operational issues. The condensate drain part attaches directly to the boiler’s internal condensate outlet or trap and provides a secure, leak-free path for disposal into the household drainage system or an external discharge point in accordance with building regulations.
