The 801655 Zig Ignitor is manufactured to original equipment specifications, ensuring precise positioning, correct electrical performance, and long-term durability under high-temperature conditions. The ignitor plays a crucial role in the boiler’s safety and efficiency by ensuring that gas is ignited quickly and cleanly. If the spark is weak, delayed, or misaligned, the boiler may fail to light, experience repeated ignition attempts, or enter safety lockout to prevent unsafe gas build-up.
Over time, ignition electrodes can degrade due to heat exposure, metal fatigue, or the build-up of combustion deposits on the electrode tip.
