The S1005600 de‑aerator is manufactured to original equipment specifications for internal geometry, venting performance, and material durability under continuous heating system conditions. Efficient removal of dissolved and trapped air is essential for optimal hydraulic performance: air within the system can create resistance to flow, reduce the effective pumping head, and contribute to uneven heating in radiators or underfloor circuits. By automatically eliminating air, this component supports more uniform heat distribution, improves pump efficiency, and helps prevent common issues like cold spots, erratic thermostat behaviour, or unnecessary boiler cycling that can result from air‑locked circuits.
Over time, air separation devices can become partially obstructed by debris, corrosion particles, or scale, which can reduce their effectiveness and allow air accumulation to persist. A failing or clogged de‑aerator may result in increased noise, reduced circulation, frequent need for manual bleeding, and additional wear on the pump and heat exchanger. Replacing a worn or compromised automatic de‑aerator with this OEM component restores reliable air extraction, improves overall system efficiency, and helps maintain silent, stable operation throughout the heating season. Because this part interfaces directly with the boiler’s hydraulic circuit, installation and testing should be carried out by a qualified heating engineer to ensure correct placement, secure connections, and compliance with safety and performance standards.
Glow-Worm provide a 1 year warranty on all spare parts. Electrical Deals Direct now sells a wide range of spare parts. If you cannot see the item you require on our website, please call 01934 253600 or email [email protected] for more information.
