The S1006400 3-Way Valve Cartridge is manufactured to exact OEM specifications, ensuring precise hydraulic fit, reliable movement, and long-lasting performance under varying pressure and temperature conditions. The valve cartridge is integral to the boiler’s ability to respond quickly to hot water and heating demands; if it becomes worn, sticky, or misaligned due to scale, sludge, or general wear, the boiler may deliver hot water when only heating is needed or vice versa, leading to user discomfort, inefficiency, and frequent fault codes. Because this component controls internal waterways, its smooth action is essential in maintaining system balance and preventing pressure fluctuations or flow restrictions.
Over time, continuous cycling between heating and hot water demands can cause internal seals and sliding surfaces in the cartridge to wear, leading to leaks between circuits, delayed switching, or partial heat delivery.
