The 95605092 is the genuine Heatrae Sadia control valve knob for Streamline 2010 oversink electric water heaters. It is supplied complete with the spindle extension that couples the knob to the control behind the fascia, so a worn knob and a worn extension are replaced together.
What it does
On a Streamline over-sink heater, these knobs are the entire user interface. One sets the stored water temperature at the thermostat, the other operates the control valve. The extension carries the movement from the visible knob through the front cover to the component behind it, which is why a knob that spins freely is often an extension fault rather than a knob fault.
Symptoms of failure
- Knob turns but the temperature or flow does not change
- Cracked, split or stripped knob that will not grip the spindle
- Knob has come away from the fascia completely
- Setting markings worn off, making the control unusable
Compatible models
Fits all models in the Heatrae Sadia Streamline 2010 oversink range, covering the 7 litre and 10 litre units in both 1kW and 3kW ratings. Earlier Streamline units used a different control arrangement, so check the part number before ordering.
Installation
Isolate the appliance electrically before removing the front cover. No specialist qualification is required, though a competent person should carry out the work as the fascia has to come off to reach the spindle.
