The Ideal 171441 Gas Valve Kit Classic VR4601EA / VR4601AA1036 is an authentic replacement gas control module engineered specifically for older and classic Ideal boiler models that use the VR4601 series gas valve. This kit includes the gas valve body, diaphragms, solenoids, springs, seals, and other internal components required to properly control gas flow into the boiler’s combustion chamber. The gas valve’s core purpose is to accurately meter fuel delivery in response to signals from the boiler’s control system so that the burner receives the correct volume and pressure of gas for efficient ignition, stable flame, and safe operating performance.
As a critical safety and functional element of the boiler, the gas valve must respond precisely to demand changes — opening when heat or hot water is required, closing when demand ends, and modulating flow safely throughout the combustion cycle. Because this kit is supplied as a genuine Ideal spare, it is manufactured to strict OEM tolerances, using materials and design specifications that ensure reliable long‑term operation under the thermal and pressure conditions expected in everyday heating use.
Electrical Deals Direct now sells a wide range of spare parts. If you cannot see the item you require on our website, please call 01934 253600 or email [email protected] for more information.
