The Ideal 171441 Gas Valve Kit Classic VR4601EA / VR4601AA1036 is an authentic replacement gas control module engineered specifically for older and classic Ideal boiler models that use the VR4601 series gas valve. This kit includes the gas valve body, diaphragms, solenoids, springs, seals, and other internal components required to properly control gas flow into the boiler’s combustion chamber. The gas valve’s core purpose is to accurately meter fuel delivery in response to signals from the boiler’s control system so that the burner receives the correct volume and pressure of gas for efficient ignition, stable flame, and safe operating performance.
