The Ideal 173528 Ignition Electrode is a replacement part designed to create the high voltage spark necessary to ignite the gas within a boiler’s combustion chamber. Built to manufacturer specifications, it features durable ceramic insulation and a metal tip engineered to withstand repeated heat cycles and continuous operation. Its proper positioning and spark intensity are critical for efficient and safe burner start-up; a misaligned or worn electrode can cause ignition delays, flame failure, or repeated lockouts. Over time, ignition electrodes can degrade due to thermal stress, combustion residue, or physical wear, leading to unreliable ignition performance. Replacing a worn or faulty electrode with the correct Ideal 173528 Ignition Electrode restores dependable ignition, supports smooth boiler operation, and helps maintain overall heating efficiency and safety.
Electrical Deals Direct now sells a wide range of spare parts. If you cannot see the item you require on our website, please call 01934 253600 or email [email protected] for more information.
