The Ideal 175418 30 kW Heat Exchanger Plate Kit is for use in compatible Ideal combi and system boiler models with a 30 kW output rating. This plate heat exchanger forms the core of the boiler’s domestic hot water production, where it transfers heat from the primary heating circuit into the potable water supply without mixing the two fluid streams. It consists of a series of closely packed, corrosion‑resistant metal plates that create a large surface area for efficient thermal exchange, ensuring fast response times and a steady flow of hot water to taps and showers.
Built to the manufacturer’s exact specifications, this kit includes the heat exchanger plates and any required seals or gaskets to complete the replacement, providing a direct fit and reliable performance. Over time, heat exchangers can become restricted by limescale and mineral deposits or suffer internal wear, leading to reduced hot water temperature, fluctuating flow rates, longer heat‑up times, or boiler diagnostic errors. Replacing a degraded or blocked exchanger with this genuine Ideal component restores optimal heat transfer efficiency, improves hot water delivery consistency, and supports overall boiler performance.
Electrical Deals Direct now sells a wide range of spare parts. If you cannot see the item you require on our website, please call 01934 253600 or email [email protected] for more information.
