Genuine Instanta HFF127SP 8-Hole Boiler Top Plate Gasket
The Instanta HFF127SP is a genuine OEM 8-Hole boiler top plate gasket for Instanta commercial water boilers and boiling-water taps. Instanta describe it as a please note this is for older versions of WB-2 & WB-2/6KW (please contact instanta with serial number). It is supplied as an original manufacturer part, not a pattern equivalent.
What it does
The seal keeps a joint watertight. Silicone and rubber seals harden, flatten and perish with repeated heat cycling, so they are a routine service item rather than a fault part - it is good practice to renew the seal whenever the joint it sits on is disturbed.
Signs the seal needs replacing
- Water weeping or dripping from the joint
- Puddling underneath or behind the unit
- Steam escaping around the tank lid or cover
- A seal that is visibly hardened, flattened, split or perished

Fitting
Isolate the unit electrically and from the water supply, and allow it to cool and drain down before removing the old part. Fitting by a competent engineer is recommended. No gas or G3 qualification applies to these units.
