Genuine Instanta WEN5GNSP Silicone Rubber Tank Gasket
The Instanta WEN5GNSP is a genuine OEM silicone rubber tank gasket for Instanta commercial water boilers and boiling-water taps. It is supplied as an original manufacturer part, not a pattern equivalent.
What it does
The seal keeps a joint watertight. Silicone and rubber seals harden, flatten and perish with repeated heat cycling, so they are a routine service item rather than a fault part - it is good practice to renew the seal whenever the joint it sits on is disturbed.
Signs the seal needs replacing
- Water weeping or dripping from the joint
- Puddling underneath or behind the unit
- Steam escaping around the tank lid or cover
- A seal that is visibly hardened, flattened, split or perished

Fits Instanta WMS 5. Instanta also list the WEN5GNSP against the WMS5 SureFlow wall-mounted boiler. Always check the part number on your existing component before ordering. If you are unsure, call us on 01934 253600 and we will confirm the right part for your model.
Fitting
Isolate the unit electrically and from the water supply, and allow it to cool and drain down before removing the old part. Fitting by a competent engineer is recommended. No gas or G3 qualification applies to these units.
