Genuine Reliance HRP0162 7 Bar T&P Relief Valve 15mm x 15mm
A 7 bar temperature and pressure relief valve with 15mm connections on both inlet and outlet.
What it does
A temperature and pressure relief valve is the last line of protection on an unvented cylinder. It sits in the upper part of the cylinder, where the water is hottest. If the temperature controls fail and the water passes its set temperature, or the pressure rises past the set pressure, the valve lifts and discharges to the tundish.
Where it fits
Unvented hot water storage cylinders and water heaters - the temperature and pressure relief valve that discharges if the stored water exceeds its set temperature or pressure.
Specification
- Pressure setting 7 bar
- Connections 15mm x 15mm
- TPR15 type
