The Reliance PRED320100 Predator pressure reducing valve is a 3/4" FBSP 3 port valve designed to regulate and stabilise water pressure in sealed heating and hot water systems, delivering a consistent preset outlet pressure of 3 bar. Featuring a gauge port and 3 port compression configuration, this valve allows flexible installation and accurate system monitoring.
Pressure reducing valves are essential for protecting plumbing and heating systems from excessive inlet pressure, which can cause damage to pipework, fittings, and appliances. This Predator 320T MK3 valve is factory preset to 3 bar, ensuring stable and controlled system pressure without the need for adjustment. The 3 port design provides additional installation flexibility, making it suitable for a wide range of sealed systems including boilers, unvented cylinders, and thermal stores. Over time, valves can become affected by debris, wear, or scale, leading to inconsistent pressure control or reduced performance. Replacing a faulty valve restores system safety, efficiency, and reliability. Installation should always be carried out by a suitably qualified professional in accordance with current regulations.
