The Reliance PRED800015 Predator pressure reducing valve is designed for controlling and stabilising water pressure in domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems, reducing high inlet pressure to a safe and adjustable outlet range between 1 and 6 bar. Supplied with an integrated pressure gauge and 15mm compression connections, this valve ensures accurate pressure control and system protection.
Pressure reducing valves are essential for preventing excessive water pressure that can cause damage to pipework, fittings, and appliances, as well as reducing water wastage and improving system efficiency. The Predator valve features a factory preset pressure (typically 3 bar) with adjustable control, allowing precise regulation to suit system requirements. It includes a fully serviceable integral strainer to protect internal components and maintain long-term performance. Over time, valves may become affected by scale or wear, which can impact pressure stability and performance, making replacement necessary to maintain safe operation. Installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified professional in accordance with relevant regulations.
