The Reliance PRED800020 Predator pressure reducing valve is designed for controlling and stabilising water pressure in domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems, reducing high inlet pressure to a safe and adjustable outlet range between 1 and 6 bar. Supplied with an integrated pressure gauge and 22mm compression connections, this valve ensures accurate pressure control and system protection.
Pressure reducing valves are essential for preventing excessive mains water pressure that can damage pipework, fittings, and appliances, as well as reduce water wastage and improve efficiency. The Predator valve is factory preset (typically 3 bar) and fully adjustable, allowing precise pressure control to suit system requirements. It also features an integral strainer to protect internal components from debris and maintain long-term reliability. Designed for use with hot and cold water systems, it supports stable operation and helps extend system lifespan. Over time, valves may become affected by scale or wear, making replacement necessary to maintain performance and safety. Installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified professional in accordance with relevant regulations.
