The Tesla TS230 Dual Safety Thermostat (18") is a high-performance replacement thermostat designed for immersion heaters in deeper domestic hot water cylinders. Featuring both precise temperature control and an independent overheat safety cut-out, this unit ensures efficient operation while maintaining essential system protection.
This dual thermostat regulates the immersion heater by monitoring water temperature and cycling the element on and off to maintain the desired setting. In addition, the built-in secondary safety thermostat automatically disconnects power if temperatures exceed safe limits, protecting the cylinder and heating element from overheating.
With its extended 18-inch probe length, the TS230 is ideal for use in large or high-capacity cylinders where shorter thermostats may not accurately measure water temperature. The longer probe ensures more precise sensing deeper within the tank, improving overall temperature consistency and system efficiency.
Engineered for reliability and durability, the TS230 is suitable for both replacement and upgrade applications, restoring safe and consistent hot water control.
