This module serves as the condensate trap/siphon—its job is to collect and remove the mildly acidic water produced during combustion, maintain a water seal to prevent the ingress of flue-gases or air, and ensure the condensate is safely routed to waste without causing internal damage or flow restrictions. Manufactured to exact Vaillant engineering standards, the 0020184119 trap is built from durable, corrosion-resistant materials designed to withstand repeated thermal cycling, moisture exposure and pressure fluctuations inside the boiler housing. Maintaining the correct flow path and seal integrity, it prevents common problems such as condensate line freezing, internal flooding, error codes related to drainage faults, or corrosion of heat-sensitive components.
