The Vaillant 180985 Siphonic Condensate Trap forms an integral part of your boiler’s condensate management system, thus collecting and safely discharging condensation that forms during the combustion process. Unlike standard traps, its siphonic design makes for controlled, intermittent drainage that cuts down on gurgling sounds and eliminates backflow and freezing issues. This innovative mechanism ensures that potentially corrosive condensate is efficiently removed while maintaining an airtight seal to block harmful flue gases from escaping into the property. Constructed from durable, heat- and chemical-resistant materials, the 180985 trap guarantees long-term performance and reliability even under continuous use. Perfectly suited for a range of Vaillant ecoTEC models, it offers a precise fit and easy installation, making it a preferred choice for both engineers and homeowners seeking to maintain peak boiler efficiency, safety, and quiet operation.
Vaillant provide a 1 year warranty on all genuine spare parts. Electrical Deals Direct now sells a wide range of spare parts. If you cannot see the item you require on our website, please call 01934 253600 or email [email protected] for more information.
