The BC1177 Motor Brushes are the official carbon brush pair used in the Warner Howard BC‑series motor assemblies, most commonly the BC1176 motor. These brushes conduct electrical current to the motor’s armature and are a standard wear component in brushed AC motors. Over time, they wear down, causing weak airflow, intermittent running, sparking, or complete motor failure.
Replacing the brushes is a cost‑effective repair compared to replacing the full motor assembly, and is a common maintenance task in commercial washrooms where Warner Howard dryers are heavily used.
