Zip AQ0345 Sacrificial Anode Gasket - Aquapoint AP3 5-15 Litre
The Zip AQ0345 is a genuine replacement gasket for the sacrificial anode port on Zip Aquapoint AP3 unvented water heaters. The sacrificial anode - a magnesium rod housed inside the tank - corrodes preferentially to protect the cylinder from internal corrosion and scale build-up, significantly extending the service life of the vessel. The AQ0345 gasket seals the anode access point after inspection or anode replacement, maintaining the pressure integrity of the unvented system.
Compatible with the Zip Aquapoint AP3 5, 10 and 15 litre models. Servicing unvented hot water storage systems, including anode inspection and replacement, should be carried out by a G3 qualified engineer in accordance with Building Regulations Part G.
