Instant boiling and chilled water is becoming standard in modern offices, replacing vending machines, pod coffee machines and kettles with one appliance that delivers on demand. Filtered still, ice-cold sparkling, tea or instant coffee all come from the same tap.
The decision comes down to three things: how many cups an hour you need at peak, whether chilled and sparkling are worth the extra undersink unit, and how hard your water is, because scale is what causes most maintenance on a commercial tap.
We have supplied these for over a decade and are happy to shortlist over the phone. Call 01934 253600, or try our online advisor.

Top Brand: Zip Water
Zip has long been the UK market leader and the classic tap shape is close to an industry standard, with more output, style and colour combinations than anyone else.
See the full Zip HydroTap range, or the on-wall HydroBoil units. Replacement Zip filters are stocked for the whole range.
Top Brand: Billi
Billi created the original instant boiling water tap and has spent years refining it. The range now covers almost every combination of boiling, chilled, sparkling and hot and cold.
Variable speed pumps, heat recovery from the cooling circuit and a simple filter change give it a genuine edge, and every undersink unit fits a 500mm cupboard. See the full Billi tap range.
Top Brand: Vivreau from BRITA
BRITA is a trusted name in drinking water, and the distinctive Vi-Taps sell well on the back of it. Installers favour them because the boiling and chilled undersink units are separate and a font and drip tray are included.
Good scale filtration and high-quality components keep reliability high. See the Vivreau range.
Top Brand: Aqua Libra
A Britvic brand, and arguably the biggest step forward in water purification of any commercial boiling tap. That matters most in hard water areas, since scale on the internal components causes the bulk of maintenance call-outs.
Combined with a striking, high-output tap, it belongs on most shortlists. See the Aqua Libra range.
On-Wall Water Boilers

On-wall boilers do the same job for tea and coffee but are easier to install and typically a good deal cheaper than a tap. The tank sizes also run far larger, so they suit places where a lot of cups are needed at once: a school staff room at break, or a village hall at the end of a meeting.
Units go up to 25 litres, which is over 100 mugs on the initial draw-off. Ranges include Zip HydroBoil, Instanta, Marco, Lincat, Quench and Hyco.
