The Mitsubishi Jet Towel Wave hand dryer family now comprises both 'hands-under' (the Slim model) and 'hands-in' (the Smart model) hand dryers. A little-known fact is that Mitsubishi came up with the idea of a 'blade' of air to scrape the water from your hands long before Dyson, and now, several generations of dryers later, the new range from Mitsubishi is more than a match for anything else on the hand dryer market.

Both types of Mitsubishi dryers come with an extremely impressive set of technical specifications and performance figures which place them firmly at the top of the table for high-performance, highly efficient and well-designed hand dryers. the new styling brings both models together and delivers an extremely up-market image for your washroom.

The Jet Towel Wave works through powering air (either heated or unheated) through a line of wave-shaped slots onto both sides of your hands, wiping the water off rather than evaporating it. In the case of the Slim hands-in dryers, this water is then channelled into a hygienic drip tray concealed in the bottom of the unit. Quite apart from the Mitsubishi Jet Towels being cheaper than the equivalent Dyson Airblade models, they score exceptionally highly in the following areas:

Reliability

Mitsubishi Dryers Boast an Incredible 6 Year warranty across their range, Whilst the warranty itself requires back-to-base authentication, proving somewhat tedious, we know of no other brand on the market able to produce an entire range of dryers at the quality Mitsubishi offer with such a long term warranty across the products. This cannot be stressed enough - Mitsubishi are the go-to option if you want a signed and then out-of-mind style decision. Credibility

Mitsubishi first developed their dryer over 20 years ago (yes, they were before Dyson!), and you’ll find it in places like Marks & Spencers’ washrooms, amongst many others. Although there are many different brands of hand dryer on the market today, there is only a small handful of companies who design and build their own dryers - Mitsubishi, Dyson, World Dryer and Excel Dryers are the top 4 of these, and the quality of their products is extremely high.

Noise level

All modern hand dryers make a lot of noise – but NONE makes as little as the Mitsubishi Jet Towel Wave. The latest models are even quieter, which has been achieved through the use of a new brushless motor and a subtle change to the shape of the slits used to create the blade of air. This is a very important point because the biggest complaint about modern, high-powered hand dryers is that they make too much noise, and usually the only way to reduce the noise is to accept that the dryer will have less power. The Jet Towel Waves buck this trend, and give a top-class performance at much lower noise levels.

Hygienic - No mess

For the Slim Jet Towel Wave (i.e. the 'hands-in' model) the built-in drip tray catches all the excess water as it is blown off the hands, and stores it in an anti-bacterial reservoir at the base of the dryer which can be emptied during your normal washroom cleaning schedule. 

Shape and Size

The Mitsubishi Jet Towel / Wave is slightly more compact than its competitors – a very useful trait when space in the washroom is at a premium. For example, the Smart Jet Towel's footprint on the wall is more than 20% less than the Dyson V.

There are a number of different models available: the Mitsubishi Jet Towel Slim comes in White, Dark Grey or Silver. All these have a heating element (more for comfort than to reduce the drying time) which can be switched off. In addition, there is a non-heater model which is available in white.
