Genuine Danfoss 071N8213 BFP 41 L3 Oil Pump
Genuine Danfoss BFP 41 L3 Diamond oil burner pump, code 071N8213. Counter-clockwise rotation, front pressure regulation and a normally closed solenoid valve mounted on the side.
What it does
The pump draws oil from the tank, raises it to a steady pressure and feeds it to the burner nozzle. A diaphragm regulator holds the set pressure, and the built-in normally closed solenoid valve opens the nozzle line only while the burner is firing, then shuts it off cleanly when the burner stops.
Signs it needs replacing
A burner that locks out, struggles to hold oil pressure, runs noisily, leaks oil at the shaft or drips after shutdown usually points to a worn pump or a failing valve.

Oil burners using a Danfoss BFP 41 L3 pump (counter-clockwise). Supersedes 071N1213 (EOGB D01-071N1213). Danfoss's current service equivalent is 071N7174.
