The IRP panel heater from Dimplex is a slim, modern heating solution that uses advanced far-infrared technology to deliver efficient radiant warmth. It is particularly well-suited to light commercial environments and highly insulated new-build properties.

With an ultra-thin depth of just 3cm, IRP panel heaters provide precise, comfortable heat through far-infrared radiation, gently warming people and surfaces rather than the air. This makes them an excellent option for energy-efficient buildings where heat loss is kept to a minimum.

Designed with flexibility and aesthetics in mind, IRP far-infrared panel heaters can be wall or ceiling mounted (300W only), supporting contemporary interior layouts. Unlike traditional wall heaters, they can even be positioned above sofas. For higher ceilings or more refined design requirements, the panels can also be suspended using a cable extension kit (available separately).

These discreet radiant heaters are also ideal for light commercial applications such as meeting rooms, reception areas, counters and other enclosed spaces where targeted personal warmth is needed. Their slim, space-saving design is complemented by a durable matt white finish that resists marking and blends easily into most commercial interiors. Larger models can be wall-mounted or ceiling-hung, while the 300W square version can be recessed into a standard 600 × 600mm ceiling grid using the optional IRP300 false ceiling frame kit. A built-in key lock function helps facilities managers prevent unauthorised adjustments and maintain efficient operation.

For Lot 20 compliance, the IRP panel heater is used alongside the Dimplex DTB-2R wall-mounted digital thermostat. This provides 7-day time and temperature control for multiple heaters, offering functionality similar to a traditional wet radiator system. The clear, backlit LCD display gives access to several intelligent features, including Adaptive Start Technology, which automatically calculates the optimal time to begin heating to achieve the desired temperature at the set time.

Installation is straightforward thanks to the supplied H-frame wall mounting bracket. The heater is also backed by a five-year manufacturer’s warranty when registered online, with the controller covered for two years.
