The Gorillo Ultra hand dryer can be summed up as a well-priced ‘hands-in’ hand dryer which is extremely quiet and adjustable in terms of power consumption.
Not only does it get around the problem experienced by some other dryers of water on the floor causing a slip and hygiene hazard by having a built-in drip tray, but it also incorporates a HEPA filter to clean the air it blows out as well as Ultra-violet technology to clean the internals of the unit, making it a good choice if washroom hygiene is important.
Whilst, not the cheapest hands-in dryer available on the market, it is certainly one of the quietest, recording just 73 – 77 decibels (depending on the washroom furnishings).
At full settings, i.e. with the heater element switched on and the motor on full, the unit consumes 1.65kW (about the same as the Dyson Airblade)
And dries your hands in around 10 seconds (again, similar to the Airblade), but for economy reasons, you may wish to turn off the heating element (700W) or turn down the speed of the motor to reduce the power consumption.
