The 95615080 is the genuine main power printed circuit board for the Heatrae Sadia Amptec range of electric flow boilers, including the Amptec Underfloor units, and for the Electromax 9kW combination boiler and cylinder.
What it does
An electric flow boiler heats water as it passes through, using banks of heating elements switched in stages. The main power PCB is the board that carries and switches that load. It takes the demand signal from the control side, energises the element stages through its relays, and monitors the sensors that protect the appliance. It is distinct from any display or user-interface board.
Symptoms of a failed power PCB
- Boiler powers up but no elements energise, so there is no heat output
- Only some stages fire, giving reduced output that never reaches setpoint
- Audible relay chatter, or relays that stick closed and overheat the unit
- Visible scorching, swelling or burnt tracks around the relay or terminal area
- Fault indication pointing to the power side rather than the sensors
Compatible models
This board appears in the manufacturer's own parts lists for both the Amptec electric flow boiler and the Electromax 9kW, where it is the main power PCB assembly. Amptec boards changed across the life of the range and several related part numbers exist, so always check the number printed on the board you are replacing rather than working from the appliance model alone.
Installation
This is a mains-carrying component inside an electrical appliance. The supply must be isolated at the consumer unit and the board replaced by a qualified electrician. No gas or G3 qualification applies. Where a board has failed with visible heat damage, establish the cause before fitting a replacement.
