What Size Cylinder Do I Need?
Buying a cylinder which is too small for your needs will mean that you run out of hot water (usually at the most inconvenient time!), and buying one which is too small means you will be unnecessarily heating hot water so your running costs will be higher than they need to be.
There is never a 100% correct number, because although cylinders are usually based upon the number of bathrooms and bedrooms in a house (as we have done above) it’s difficult to predict that your teenage son may spend 30 mins in the shower each morning, or that you have pet dolphins which need constant bathing in luke warm water.
