Hotun Tundish Shield HS100C
A Hotun dry trap tundish is a system that provides a safe way of system discharge from a boiler or water heater to an internal pipe. A tundish is installed to prevent cross-contamination between an overflow and a drain pipe. Unsanitary water from the drain pipe could theoretically enter the system if a tundish is not installed to block this. This Hotun Shield is the only product on the market 100% effective at preventing access to scalding water whilst still allowing user's to visually inspect the visible signs of water system discharge. For general use at all locations where Tundish is present. Shield is NOT for use with unvented cylinders.
