The Instanta SR8SP is a genuine OEM internal cold feed pipe silicone o/flow tube genuine replacement spare part for Instanta commercial water boilers and boiling-water taps. It is supplied as an original manufacturer part, not a pattern equivalent.
What it does
This part carries water between components inside the unit or forms part of its housing. Silicone and plastic parts in a boiler harden and craze over time under constant heat, and once they do they either leak or no longer locate correctly.
When to replace this part
- Weeping, splitting or perishing at the connection
- A hardened, crazed or discoloured part
- A component that no longer seats or clips into place
- Damage found during a service or descale

Fitting
Isolate the unit electrically and from the water supply, and allow it to cool and drain down before removing the old part. Fitting by a competent engineer is recommended. No gas or G3 qualification applies to these units.
