Genuine Reliance PREL102005 6 Bar 102 Series Relief Valve 1/2" MBSP x 15mm
102 Series potable water relief valve, pre-set and locked at 6 bar, with a 1/2 inch BSP male inlet and 15mm outlet. The cartridge lifts out for cleaning or replacement.
What it does
Water expands as it heats. An expansion relief valve opens at its set pressure and releases the excess to the tundish, so the system never runs above its design pressure. A relief valve that drips continually is a common sign it needs replacing.
Where it fits
Unvented hot water cylinders and sealed water systems - the expansion relief valve that discharges excess pressure at its set point.
Specification
- Series 102
- Pressure setting 6 bar (pre-set and locked)
- Connections 1/2" MBSP x 15mm
- Body test pressure 20 bar
- Maximum temperature 140 C
- DZR brass body, EPDM diaphragm
- Stainless steel spring
- Replacement cartridge ZRC214004
- Certified to BS EN 1491
- WRAS approved
