The BC0828 Front Sensor is the primary IR detection module fitted to selected Warner Howard and Intelligent Hand Dryers. This sensor sits behind the front cover (e.g., BC0142 polished chrome or 16401499 white) and detects hands placed beneath the dryer. When triggered, it sends a signal to the main PCB (BC2625) to activate the motor and heater.
This part is a direct‑fit replacement, supplied as a complete sensor assembly with the correct wiring and mounting points. It is commonly replaced when dryers fail to start, run intermittently, or activate without hands present.
