If you live in a hard water area, we would definitely recommend some sort of scale control to protect your Zip tap, and if you would like to situate your tap away from your sink, you can purchase the optional font, which contains its own drainage and also raises the height of the tap by 100mm to enable jugs and bowls to be placed underneath the tap easily.
