Biodrier 3d Smart Dry Hand Dryer We have written in the past how Biodrier are fast becoming one of the most important and successful suppliers to the UK hand dryer market, and it seems they are not finished yet in coming up with more innovative ideas to expand their product line.

As a reminder – they already have what we regard as extremely strong contenders in 3 areas of the market:

With the Biodrier Eco and the Biolite models, they have extremely well priced models which more than stand up to the competition in terms of performance (we have recently had several customers trial the Biolite alongside more expensive competitive products, and the Biolite has won each time).

In the ‘hands-in’ category, the Business, Business2 and Executive are all very serious alternatives for the Dyson Airblade both in terms of performance, features and price.

And with the recently launched G-Wave, they even have competition for the Dyson V dryer, with an innovative hands-under dryer which also incorporates a drip tray.

And now, Biodrier have launched the 3D Smart Dry hand dryer – and it has more than one feature which could mean it is about to do well in another sector of the market currently dominated by the XLerator dryer from Excel dryers.

The first, as the name implies, is that the 3D Smart Dry has 3 jets of air directed onto the hands from 3 different directions, and having tested this out, I can personally tell you that it does make quite a difference to the impression of effectiveness.Biodrier 3d hand dryer air jets

And the second is that the motor, which is a brushless motor running at 35000 rpm, consumes just 500W of power when the heating element is not in use. When you consider the Dyson Airblade consumes 1600W of power, and this is considered a very environmentally friendly hand dryer, it puts this very low consumption into context. It is in fact the same as the XLerator from Excel Dryers, yet the Biodrier is significantly cheaper.

The third feature which really demonstrates Biodrier’s commitment to innovation is that the 3D has an ‘intelligent element’, which automatically increases the amount of heating applied to the air as the ambient temperature in the washroom get colder. In the market at the moment there are some dryers which have switchable elements, to allow them to be set to ‘Winter’ (heating element on) or ‘Summer’ (heating element off) settings, but the advantage of having this change automatically depending on the temperature at the time is obvious. In fact, as we have actually had a customer of ours return their unheated hand dryer to us in the past because it was too cold for their staff to use, we recognise that this could be a very good idea.

So, not only are we confident that the Biodrier 3D Smart Dry hand dryer will be extremely popular, we are also sure that it will play a big part in further establishing Biodrier as a very significant player in the UK market.
