The Advance Appliances TSiC170 is a 170 litre indirect twin coil vented thermal store for use with a gas, oil, solid fuel or biomass boiler. It stores central heating water and passes mains water through an internal coil, giving mains pressure hot water for powerful showers and quick bath filling without the need for an unvented cylinder.
How it works
In the indirect pattern the boiler heats the store through the lower coil, so it can be used with a sealed system boiler in a Y plan with a single pump. The store stays vented and its water is used only to carry heat.
The indirect pattern can be sited anywhere in the property.
Cold section
This is the cylinder only version, with no cold section: the feed and expansion tank is fitted remotely at the top of the system, giving more choice of position.
Replacing an older store
Advance thermal stores are a like-for-like replacement for Boilermate, Flomax and Albion Mainsflow stores. Made in the UK and built to the HWA specification.
