The Heatrae Sadia Multipoint Range is a market leading range of unvented and instantaneous water heaters in the UK designed for use within a domestic, commercial or industrial environment.
There are three types of Heatrae Sadia Multipoint water heaters suitable for use in different applications.
Ideally these are suited where a single water heater is required to serve two or three small outlets (basins). These do not require a separate cold-water tank like your traditional open vented systems. They are fed directly by your incoming cold water main and work at mains pressure to give you a high flow rate and balanced supply to all taps or outlets. The Heatrae Sadia Multipoint can be fitted with any tap and are supplied with a factory fitted temperature and pressure relief valve. These come with a choice of two different electrical power ratings – 3KW and 4.5KW.
Due to the much higher capacity these are more suitable for use where there is high demand (busy commercial kitchens or washrooms with showers). These are also fed directly by your incoming cold water main and work at mains pressure to give you a high flow rate and balanced supply to all taps or outlets. There is a difference in the technology between this model and the smaller models, it comes with an energy saving smart thermostatic control. What this does is learn your usage patterns and work out what time of day it needs to have water up to temperature ready to go. This range also comes in a horizontal model which can be helpful if there is no vertical space to mount a water heater. With any purchase of a Multipoint Eco you will receive an expansion vessel kit included with the unit. These are only available in a 3KW model.
This model is the only Heatrae Sadia Multipoint designed for domestic use however they are also widely used in commercial settings for small sinks. These are point of use water heaters (no storage, the water is heated as it flows through). They are for use with single outlet however they can be connected to two outlets such as a shower and basin tap providing only one is in use at any time. These come in a choice of two different electrical power ratings – 7KW and 9KW.
