Genuine Danfoss 052F0030 EBI Ignition Transformer
Genuine Danfoss EBI electronic ignition unit, code 052F0030, which provides the high-voltage spark that lights an oil burner.
What it does
The ignition unit converts the mains supply into a high-voltage spark across the burner's electrodes, lighting the oil spray at start-up.
Signs it needs replacing
No spark at the electrodes, a burner that locks out on every start, or a unit that buzzes without sparking usually means the ignition unit has failed. Check the electrodes and leads first.
