Heatrae Sadia Megaflo Unvented Hotwater Cylinders
The Heatrae Sadia Megaflo range is an established yet innovative range of unvented water heaters which cater for electric water heating requirements from small apartments to large hotels. Reliable, mains pressure floor-mounted units come with a lifetime warranty and are made in the UK. With such a huge number of different models in the range, we have broken down the products into the categories you can see on the right-hand side and which are explained in more detail below.
Megaflo Eco
The most popular section of the Megaflo Unvented range, the Eco cylinders have an internal expansion system which reduces the amount of external pipework, so you do not need to add a separate expansion vessel during installation. The cylinders are available from 70 litres up to 300 litres, both as direct units (with up to 4 heating elements) or indirect units.
Megaflo Eco Plus
With all the benefits of the Eco, the Eco Plus additionally has the capability for a greater flow rate. The Eco Plus starts at a capacity of 250 litres and goes up to 570 litres. Perfect for semi-commercial spaces, providing unvented hot water at the 28mm connection width - something usually used in business spaces or in particular larger households/estates. These units offer all the same great benefits as the Eco Range of unvented cylinders.
Megaflo Eco SystemFit
The Eco SystemFit comes with all plumbing connections pre-connected to save time and installation costs – they are all colour coded and easily accessible at the front of the cylinder. All SystemFit models are indirect models and range from 125 to 300 litres in capacity.
Megaflo Eco SystemReady
These are similar in capacity range to the SystemFit but are designed to be used with a System boiler. They are made from high-grade duplex stainless steel and have a 60mm thick polyurethane insulation for excellent heat retention.
Megaflo Eco Commercial
The commercial Megaflo models go from 400 litres up to a huge 2500 litres and are available in direct, Indirect and solar models. By offering high-performance coils and a choice of electric elements a maximum of 162kW of heat allows recovery times on all models of less than 60 minutes. The commercial models carry a warranty of 30 years.
