The Grant EFBS19 is a genuine Grant OEM on/off double pole switch with neon indicator, designed as a direct replacement for the mains isolation switch fitted to a wide range of Grant oil-fired boilers. Featuring four spade terminals and a two-position toggle mechanism, the EFBS19 provides a clean, reliable mains disconnect function and includes a neon lamp that illuminates when the switch is in the on position, giving an immediate visual indication of boiler power status at a glance.
Compatible with a broad span of Grant boiler models, the EFBS19 is the correct replacement switch for the Combi MkII, Combi V3, Euroflame, Multipass, Vortex Pro, Vortex Pro Combi, Vortex Eco, and Vortex Eco Wall Hung. Always verify compatibility against the specific boiler's wiring diagram or service documentation before fitting, as switch configurations can vary across production runs.
As a genuine Grant component, the EFBS19 is manufactured to the original specification, ensuring a correct fit in the boiler fascia aperture and full compatibility with the factory wiring loom's spade connector terminals. The four-terminal double pole configuration simultaneously breaks both live and neutral on switch-off, meeting the requirement for full isolation of the appliance in line with Part P and BS 7671 wiring regulations.
Switch failure on Grant Vortex boilers typically presents as a total loss of power to the appliance with no fault codes displayed, or as an intermittent power loss that can be difficult to diagnose without testing the switch directly. The EFBS19 is a compact, cost-effective repair that restores full boiler operation and should be within the capability of any competent OFTEC-registered engineer familiar with the Grant Vortex range.
