Do You Also Need Normal Hot & Cold Water From The Tap?

This type of tap is sometimes called a ‘3-in-1’ – i.e. Boiling + Hot + Cold.

It is an option only when the tap will be located over a sink rather than on a separate ‘font’ away from the sink, and it effectively replaces the normal sink tap.

This is a more common choice in domestic situations rather than commercial, and in most cases (but not all) the tap and undersink appliance do NOT produce the hot water – it is simply plumbed in to the existing hot water supply. In these cases, if you do not have an existing hot water supply, you can simply use a small electric point-of-use water heater under the sink.

If you select this option, you will also be shown tap models which come as 2 separate taps – one for hot and cold and the other for the boiling water.
