The Intergas 200117 is a genuine NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) heat exchanger sensor, covering both the S1 and S2 sensor positions on a wide range of Intergas boilers. This single part serves both the top and bottom sensor locations on the heat exchanger, making it a versatile and widely-used component across the entire Intergas range, from the Combi Compact and HRE Compact through to the ECO RF and Rapid series.
The NTC sensor is the boiler's primary method of monitoring water temperature within the heat exchanger in real time. As water temperature rises or falls, the sensor's electrical resistance changes predictably and measurably, sending a continuous signal back to the boiler's printed circuit board.
