What Happened to the EB3F Boilers? - The New Lincat EB3FX Boiler.
The hugely popular Lincat EB3F range of water boilers has been given a massive overhaul. Along with sleeker aesthetics, the new Lincat Boiler range, particularly the EB3FX range boasts improved technical design, added features and an improved user-friendly interface.
So What's New?
One major upgrade noticeable between f.e. the EB3F and EB3FX comes in the electronic features. The EB3FX model comes with a host of new tools, such as the ECO mode, which reduced the volume of boiling water by 50%, which is designed when user times are lower to provide a lower running cost and electrical demand. The new model comes with an intelligent ECO usage feature, which aims to recognise common spikes and lulls in usage and will adjust this setting to automatically activate. This is a common feature found in many more modern devices and becomes increasingly relevant as we move towards a "net-zero" future.
As users may know, any water boiler will struggle with limescale if not treated correctly. In turn, this causes the water boiler to be less efficient, which in commercial areas is not ideal. The new Lincat range of water boilers includes a screw cap at the top which is joined to an indicator probe to allow users to monitor the build-up of limescale. Once descaling is required, the on-screen instructions provided by the Lincat water boiler will remove the need for calling in an engineer, saving money and time.
The new EB3FX model makes a significant improvement on the previous features for sure. The temperature control system has been vastly improved, and the latest advancements allow for improved diagnostics to allow the user to quickly and simply diagnose any operational issues. The filter system has been vastly improved, moving forward this series will use the FC04 filter, a marked upgrade when compared to the FC02, ensuring a single-micron level filtration for only the purest of water.
Further To This:
There are several variations of the classic designs available with this product, in recent years Lincat has also backed up its classic design with Push Button and Hot/Cold variations. The push-button option, available here, alters the successful EB3FX to operate on a push-button basis, minimising accidents in the workplace and providing convenience for the commercial space user in particular. The hot/cold push button (found here) variant expands upon this further by offering a split hot and cold tank, offering a more "all-in-one" solution for your needs. Please note these models split the tanks directly, offering just 5 litres of each which might not make these suitable for the larger footfall areas overall.
