Genuine Alpha 1.032007 flame sensing electrode for Alpha InTec and Eco gas boilers. It proves the burner flame is lit.
What it does
The flame sensing electrode sits in the burner and sends a signal to the PCB to prove a flame is present. If that signal is lost, the boiler shuts off the gas and locks out.
Signs it needs replacing
A boiler that lights, then locks out after a few seconds, is the classic sign of a worn, sooted or cracked sensing electrode.
Where it fits
Alpha Eco; InTec 12S, 18S, 24X, 26C, 28S, 28X, 30C, 30GS, 34C & 40GS, including ErP and LPG versions.
