The Powerflow Smart PF50LS is a 50 litre, 3kW energy efficient unvented water heater providing mains pressure hot water to multiple outlets. It sits in the middle of the Powerflow Smart range, suited to moderate demand commercial and light domestic use, typically covering 4-6 basins. Ideal for kitchens, schools, restaurants, washrooms, healthcare settings and offices.
It comes with a built in anti-legionella mode, automatically heating to 65°C and holding this for an hour every two weeks, and offers three operating modes, standard, smart and eco (eco running at 50°C for lower running costs). Patented technology keeps incoming cold water separate from the stored hot water, so more hot water is available for use, and the 3kW element gives a fast heat-up time of around 41 minutes (a 1kw version is also available as the PF50LS1, with a heat up time of around 123 minutes for restricted load applications). The unit features a glass lined steel tank with a replaceable magnesium anode, a digital control panel with external electronic temperature control (30℃-70℃) and a slimline, wall mounted design with connections at the base. It's supplied complete with an unvented accessory kit, including a 5L expansion vessel inlet manifold, pressure relief and reducing valves, flexible hose and two tundishes. This carries an ErP rating of B. The unit is IPX4 rated, comes pre wired with a 1.5m cable and is compatible with regular taps and mixers with an optional thermostatic mixing valve or flow through kit also available.
The warranty is 2 years parts or replacement on electrical components and 5 years on the tank.
Installation note: Must be wall mounted vertically by a qualified installer, with at least 500mm clearance below and 200mm above for maintenance access.
